“Womb-womb Room,” a work by Channing Hansen and Alexandra Grant that recreates Faith Wilding’s Crocheted Environment (Womb Room) from 1972. The collaboration between Hansen and Grant touches on many questions relevant to contemporary art practice, such as how one reframes 1970’s feminism today and how recreating a seminal artwork also recreates its relevancy.
